The kids that go to Finland

Hello everybody,
We are Luke and Brett. We are two boys from group 8. We have been chosen to go to Finland in januari 2011.
We are very excited to go!  Brett is a great football player and Luke likes to drive on the crossmotor!

Hello everybody!

We did a lot of things lately! In november we made beautifull lamps and walked by the houses to collect candy. It is called the feast of Saint Martin.

In december we celebrated the feast of Sinterklaas. We all made a surprise present for each other. If you want to see, look on our website! www.obsdemeerpaalap.nl. Look in the map of group 8.

We also joined a tv show called: the smartest school in the land. We did not win the show, but we had a great day in the tv studio's!

In Holland it is winter now! It is cold outside and we had a lot of ice and snow. All the roads are very slippery!
Now our classroom has a christmastree and a lot more christmas decorations.
Next week we will go skating in Den Helder.

This evening we organise a winterfair in the school. The children can do all kinds of activities, there is a lot to eat and drink and there is a market to buy old things.

Next week we will have a christmas diner in the school. All the children bring something to eat and we make the classroom into a restaurant. It is a lot of fun!Everybody dresses up very nicely!
